Blueberry Pancakes

I’ve been staying with my cousin Kathryn and we decided to make some blueberry pancakes.  We found a recipe in a cookbook called ‘Pretend Soup’ by Mollie Katzen that I had given to her five years ago!

 

The book has the recipes written like regular ones in grown-up cookbooks and then on the next page, the recipe is divided into illustrated sections for kids to read.

Blueberry Pancakes

Sift together the dry mix:

  • ¾ cup flour

  • ½ teaspoon salt

  • 1 tablespoon sugar

  • 1 teaspoon baking powder

Get together:

  • 1 egg

  • ¾ cup milk

  • 1 tablespoon melted butter

  • some butter for the pan

  • ½ cup blueberries
