When we went to East Anglia a few weeks back, it was a busman’s holiday for Steve. He wrote the script for a staff garden party (for 10,000) to celebrate the 800th anniversary of Cambridge University. Steve worked on the project for several days before we went and while I swanned around Cambridge, he was hard at work on the finishing touches.

The day before the garden party was incredibly wet and the crew had to call off the rehearsal when a tree in the University’s Botanic Garden was struck by lightning.
But the day of the party was a perfect summer’s day.
Steve has written the event up in the launch of his blog Steve Coxon.
As I said, I pottered around the town, getting to know Steve’s camera, a Fuji Finepix S8100. A bridge camera, it is more versatile than my little compact Pentax A30 (which I have had replaced with an A40 (Thanks to Steve, a happy birthday present to me!) : )
